A slate coaster cut in the shape of the Isle of Eriskay, one of the beautiful Western Isles of Scotland.
Eriskay is one of the southern most islands in the Uist archipelago. Famous for it's stunning beaches and coves and also the story of Whisky Galore; the ship SS Politician ran aground in bad weather in 1943 with a precious cargo of whisky, which the locals happily rescued from the waves.
The Eriskay coaster is 16 x 10cm, fully backed with soft felt, giving a luxurious finish whilst also protecting table tops. Intricately and painstakingly cut from natural slate, this is the perfect wee gift for an Eriskay lover.
